Anyone who creates or commissions content for our websites must make it accessible. This includes:
- public websites, like www.nottinghamshire.gov.uk
- internal websites, like our intranet and SharePoint
- websites we pay a supplier to run
Accessible content means everyone can find, read and use our information easily. It also helps the council meet UK accessibility regulations.
Where to start
If you are:
- new to accessibility, start with What accessible content is, then follow the subject-specific guides.
- familiar with accessibility, use the guide for the content type you need.
