Highways Capital Programme 2026/27
The first phase of the highways capital and revenue programmes proposed for delivery during 2026/27 was approved in March 2026, alongside indicative capital maintenance programmes proposed for delivery in 2027/28 and 2028/29.
A phase 2 programme report will be tabled in April 2026, setting out additional highway investment for the 2026/27 financial year.
Nottinghamshire County Council is responsible for a number of transport improvement schemes across the County. Funding is allocated to help meet the transport objectives set in the Nottinghamshire Local Transport Plan (LTP3) and to satisfy locally identified priorities. The three-year provisional highway capital programme includes road and footway maintenance schemes and transport and environmental improvements.
