You can be confident that during your traineeship you will be fully supported including:
- Being allocated a ‘buddy’ - a current or former graduate trainee who can answer any questions you might have and is there to help you settle into the organisation and on to the scheme
- Peer support from other trainees both within your cohort as well as graduates from previous cohorts
- Having access to a mentor who is also a senior manager within the Council
- A placement manager who will oversee all aspects of your work, offering day-to-day oversight, supervision and support
- A scheme co-ordinator who will oversee your development, ensure you get access to quality placement opportunities, and work with you on your development and career aspirations
- A learning tutor who will support and guide you through your management qualification and apprenticeship
