Our Graduate Development Programme (GDP) started in September 2018 and we have since recruited 25 trainees across four cohorts.  The two-year traineeship offers talented graduates from Nottinghamshire the opportunity to develop their leadership and management capabilities through accessing six-month placements across different services and departments within the organisation. Our programme is designed to shape the next generation of senior local government managers, providing insight and experience in the decisions required to provide over 400 services to more than 800,000 local people.

If you think you have what it takes to make a positive difference to the people of Nottinghamshire and to help us deliver on the aims and aspirations of our 10-year Council Plan, then we’d encourage you to apply after finding out more about the scheme.
