Nottsbus On Demand is a flexible way to travel by bus - simply book your journey using the Nottsbus On Demand App.

The on demand service was initially launched as a pilot in the villages around Retford, Ollerton, Newark and West Rushcliffe and in the evening in Mansfield. A new zone in South Newark was then launched in spring 2024. 

Following successful trials in these areas, the service has been expanded with a new Central Rushcliffe, Newark evening and expansion of the Mansfield evening service. The new Central Rushcliffe service will replace the 850, 852, 853 and 863 bus services, passengers will be able to travel into selected points in East Leake, Keyworth and Cotgrave as well as Gamston to connect to other bus services.

Nottsbus On Demand services do not follow a fixed timetable. Instead, they operate on a flexible, on demand basis, allowing you to travel between bus stops and designated points within the travel zone, where there are currently no local bus routes.

You can also use the service to connect to other bus services if you want to go further out of the area.
