Elective home education

We are committed to working in partnership with parents and carers who choose to educate their children at home. Our team offers varied support to home educators, from an education advice and guidance visit, to signposting local services for support when returning to school.

Our team aims to offer advice and support to all home educators when they need it, in addition to meeting the local authority’s statutory duties.

We have a senior professional practitioner and professional practitioners for each of the following areas:

  • South (Broxtowe, Gedling and Rushcliffe)
  • Central (Mansfield and Ashfield)
  • North (Bassetlaw and Newark)
