We want to ensure healthy, wholesome, affordable, and sustainable food is on the menu for everyone across the county.
Nottinghamshire is at the beginning of a journey to improve the way food is produced, distributed, and consumed for all our residents and visitors. We know that food is so much more than just what we eat - it can help us and our communities be healthier, better connected and have environmental and economic benefits.
Our Nottinghamshire Food Charter describes the local vision for the county and it’s a call to action for all residents. We need people and businesses to take action by committing to this food charter to help make Nottinghamshire resilient and sustainable. Below are some examples of actions that can be taken to make a difference.
