Get involved

In the video below, Ed Lowe, Member of Our Voice, describes what being involved in co-production is all about:

Ways to get involved

Your experience matters. People who draw on services, or support someone who does, understand what works and what doesn’t in everyday life, this is called lived experience.

Add your voice and help shape adult social care and improve services for people across Nottinghamshire. Don’t worry about your level of experience, whatever you can add will be valuable.

From completing a survey (giving information), attending a listening event to share your views (engagement,) taking part in a project (co-production) or joining a strategic board (strategic co-production,) each of these activities is equally important.

If you are interested in finding out more about Our Voice Strategic Co-production Group, the Making It Real Forum or one of our current projects email: [email protected], complete our online form or call the Customer Service Centre on 0300 500 8080
and a member of the team will contact you.

If you are a family carer you can also get involved with Carers Space Notts. Carers Space Notts brings together unpaid carers, professionals from health, social care, decision-makers across Nottinghamshire and other organisations.

They work with carers as equal partners, to make sure carers’ voices shape the services and support that matter most. Please visit their website to find out more.
