Co-production: working together

Co-production is a way of working. The heart of co-production is asking people who draw on adult social care what they think about it, or how they have experienced it, and using that information to improve social care. The more we ask and the more we learn, the better we can support people to live the lives they want.

Co-production is about working together to shape, design and improve what we do, with people who draw on social care (known as experts by experience), carers, voluntary sector organisations and our staff.
