Quality Assurance Framework

Our Adult Social Care and Health Quality Assurance Framework (QAF) [PDF] shows how we will check the quality of the social care we are delivering. We want to learn from people who draw on care and support, our staff, and partners to make social care the best it can be. The QAF has been co-produced with the Nottinghamshire Our Voice co-production group, colleagues and in collaboration with other Local Authorities in our region.

We have adopted the Think Local Act Personal (TLAP) Making It Real statements which sit at the heart of this framework to define what good looks like. These are the same ‘I’ statements that form the basis of the Care Quality Commission (CQC) assessment framework for local authorities.

We have aligned our QAF with the Local Account, our new Adult Social Care Strategy.
