Make a HPAS referral as a professional
Use this service to refer someone for support through HPAS.
This service is for
Healthcare and social care professionals referring people who need care or support.
You will need
Before you start, please have the following details about the person being referred:
- name, address, contact details and date of birth
- property ownership details
- details of the work needed
You will also need:
- third-party contact details, if neither you nor the person can arrange access with the tradesperson
- your own contact details, so we can contact you if needed
What will happen next
We will review the referral during office hours and allocate it to a tradesperson. If we need more information, we will contact you (or the third‑party contact).
We aim to allocate the work and have it completed within:
- 2 working days for hospital discharge referrals
- 5 working days for all other referrals.
