Please keep a note of the reference number provided in the email you have been sent in-case you need to follow-up this report with us at any stage.

What will happen next:

A member of our highways team will aim to inspect the issue you've reported within the following timescales:

  • urgent and fallen trees: inspection within 24 hours
  • overhanging trees: inspection within 20 working days
  • overgrown hedges and vegetation: inspection within 20 working days
  • other tree issues: inspection within 20 working days.

However, various factors including weather, utilities and more urgent defects can often cause delays.

We cannot provide an exact timeframe for when the problem will be fixed as the worklist is continuously reordered based on risk and priority

If you have provided an email address, you will be kept up to date with any key steps such as when it is inspected or fixed.
