The Nottinghamshire County Council (Normanton on Trent Footpath No.15 and Marnham Footpath No. 11) Modification Order 2025
On Wednesday 19th November 2025 the Nottinghamshire County Council confirmed the above Order made under Section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981.
The effect of the Order as confirmed is to modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the above Area by adding thereto the footpath commencing from a point SK 7737 6970 at the northern terminus with Weston Footpath No.1 and proceeding for a distance of 129 metres in a generally northerly direction to SK 7736 6983 to the Normanton on Trent/Marnham Parish boundary and then for a distance of 713 metres in a generally northerly direction to a point SK 7735 7054 at the junction with Marnham Road as described in the Order and shown on the Order Plan.
The Order came into force on Thursday 18th December 2025, but if a person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity, or any provisions contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 or on the grounds of any requirement of the Act or of any regulations made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under Paragraph 12 of Schedule 15 to the Act, within 6 weeks from the Thursday 18th December 2025 make an application to the High Court.
