The Nottinghamshire County Council (Costock Footpath Nos. 9 and 10) Modification Order 2025

The effect of the Order as confirmed is to modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the Rushcliffe by adding a footpath that commences from the junction with Bunny Hill (A60) at SK 5787 2783 (point A on the Order Plan) and proceeds along Ash Lane with no limitations for approximately 900 metres in a generally westerly direction to join Costock Footpath No.6 at SK5699 2793 (point C on the Order Plan) and with a width of approximately 3 metres, and by addinga footpath that commences from the junction with Costock Footpath No.9 at SK 5723 2793 (point B on the Order Plan) and proceeds along Ash Lane with no limitations for approximately 85 metres in a northerly direction to the junction with Costock Footpath No.6 at SK 5724 2801 (point D on the Order Plan) and with a width of approximately 2.5 metres, as described in the Order and shown on the Order Plan.

The Order came into force on Thursday 22nd January 2026, but if a person aggrieved by the
Order wants to question its validity, or any provisions contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 or on the grounds of any requirement of the Act or of any regulations made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under Paragraph 12 of Schedule 15 to the Act, within 6 weeks from the Thursday 22nd January 2026 make an application to the High Court.
