You’re taking the first step towards your future career! We want to give you an overview and experience of different roles within our departments, focusing on social care, occupational therapy, youth work, and social work.   

This service is for

Anyone with an interest in a future career in social care, occupational therapy, youth work and social work.

Eligibility

Applicants must: 

  • Attend full time education in school years 11 to 13

  • Be 15, 16 or 17 years old

  • Have the support of their Tutor to attend the placement 

  • Be able to undertake online learning 

  • Be able to get to the placement venues 

You will need

Within the application you will need to provide: 

  • Tutor’s name, email address and contact number 

  • Emergency contact name and number 

What will happen next

Applications must be submitted by 5pm on Friday 12 June. Any applications received after this time will not be considered. 

We will contact all on time applicants by Friday 19 June.
