Our strategy for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
Our vision is to champion and improve the experiences and outcomes for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, and to ensure that they are listened to and heard, they are the healthiest they can be, are safe and feel safe, accepted and valued, able to enjoy, have fun, and prepared for their futures.
Partners are committed to:
- Understanding SEND being everyone's responsibility.
- Placing children, young people, and the family at the heart of the SEND system.
- Actions that make sense to all stakeholders.
- Responding to new and emerging issues.
- Measuring and monitoring the delivery of key priorities.
