About this course

This course will be entirely delivered in Spanish.  The aim for this course is to practice Spanish (speaking and listening) at an advanced level using grammar and vocabulary in general topics of conversation.  This course will not have the usual format of teaching topics each session but instead it is about practicing the language as a group and polishing pronunciation and grammatical structures.  It is about getting together as a group and talking/listening for an hour about a set topic taking turns to ask and answer questions. 

By attending this course, you will be able to talk and listen to different cultural and relevant topics using a high volume of vocabulary and relevant grammar (verbs, adjectives, connectors etc.) We will cover:

- Culture (Spanish culture, food, film, music, history) 

- Talking about your life, family and hobbies 

- Travelling (your best holiday) 

- Where and Why? (Spain/UK) 

- Free topic to be arranged with the attendees  

To partcipate in this course, you will need to have an excellent understanding of grammar and verbs.  You should feel comfortable with using sentences and listening skills but also be prepared to talk and contribute to the conversations every session.   You should also be confident with the use of:

- Present/past/future tenses 

- Able to talk and understand complex sentences 

- Good general vocabulary

You may wish to bring an English-Spanish dictionary and a notebook.

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.

Some exceptions may apply if you are living in England with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).
