Remembrance Day Piglet
A favourite during World War II and the early post-war years.
- 1 baking potato
- Turkey mince: 250 grams
- Sage (fresh or dried): 5 grams
- Seasoning salt and pepper
- Cucumber or radish (for the ears) and cocktail sticks
- Rocket / leaves for garnish
- Cut a core out of the centre of the potato and put the meat into it.
- Bake in the oven at 200c / 180f / gas mark 6 for about 1 hour.
- You can cut cucumber or radish into 1/4 place at top for ears.
