Own admission authority schools’ consultation 2028-2029
Some schools are responsible for setting their own admission arrangements. These are known as own admission authority schools and include:
- academies
- foundation schools
- studio schools
- trust schools
- voluntary aided schools
These schools must make sure their admission arrangements meet the requirements of the School Admissions Code.
