Determined admission arrangements 2024-2025

All admission authorities must determine admission arrangements by 28 February every year, even if they have not changed from previous years and a consultation has not been required. Nottinghamshire County Council's admission arrangements for 2024-2025 for community and voluntary controlled schools were approved on 30 January 2023.  Following a call-in period of 5 days, the arrangements are now determined.

All local authorities are required to publish the coordinated scheme for admission arrangements to the normal admissions round and late applications.

Own admission authority schools - foundation, voluntary aided, trust or academy schools

It is the responsibility of all admission authorities to ensure that admission arrangements comply with the School Admissions Code. For own admission authority schools, the governing body is the admissions authority and it must determine the admission arrangements annually.

Determined admission arrangements for the following schools will be posted in the table below as they are received by the County Council. Search the table by school or district.

Objections to admission arrangements

Once all arrangements have been determined, arrangements can be objected to and referred to the Schools Adjudicator whose decision is binding and enforceable. Objections to admission arrangements must be referred to the Adjudicator by 15 May 2023. The Schools Adjudicator may investigate the admission arrangements of any school that the Adjudicator considers do not, or may not, comply with the mandatory requirements of the School Admissions Code or the law.
