About this course

This course will enable delegates to gain an understanding of sensory processing and how this impacts on learning and everyday life, gain an awareness of sensory approaches to learning and strategies and ideas for sensory regulation especially for those children with hyper / hypo sensory responses.

Further course information

  • To give a greater understanding to the participants on how the senses can impact on a child’s development and everyday life.
  • To look at different responses for each sense – hyper or hypo response and the triggers and strategies for working with these.
  • To provide practical and creative strategies that can help to regulate sensory behaviours using low tech resources
