Early Years Safeguarding Conference

Target audience

Early Years Providers in PVI settings including Childminders

About this course

Early Childhood services are pleased to offer a FREE Early Years Safeguarding conference to practitioners working in the PVI sector. With a shared commitment to the safeguarding and protection of children in the early years, this conference aims to foster collaboration, enhance the knowledge of the Designated Safeguarding Lead and to provide opportunities to share best practice. This will be achieved through engaging workshops led by safeguarding partners in Nottinghamshire and a keynote speaker, Ruth Pearson. Ruth has 25 years’ experience in the field of child protection and brings training alive with many examples of practice linking in with her extensive experience.

We invite Designated Safeguarding Leads to join us to explore safeguarding themes including professional curiosity, supporting those affected by domestic abuse, Prevent duty, allegations against professionals and the MASH referral process.

Places will initially be limited to one per setting. Further information regarding workshops will be emailed to you nearer the date of the conference.

Refreshments and lunch will be provided.
