Our Quality Assurance Framework sets out what good Adult Social Care looks like in Nottinghamshire. It explains how we use feedback from people who draw on care and support, carers, staff and partners to improve services.

How the framework was developed

The framework was developed with people who draw on care and support, carers, staff and partners. It was co-produced with the Nottinghamshire Our Voice co-production group and developed in collaboration with Adult Social Care colleagues and other local authorities in the region.

The framework is based on the Think Local Act Personal (TLAP) Making It Real statements.

The Making it Real statements also form the basis of the Care Quality Commission (CQC) assessment framework for local authorities.

How we use the framework

The framework helps us check the quality of Adult Social Care services and identify where improvements can be made.

The Quality Assurance Framework supports delivery of the Adult Social Care Plan 2026 to 2028 and helps us monitor progress against its priorities.
