Accessible taxi companies
Many taxi companies now operate vehicles capable of transporting wheelchair-using, or mobility impaired, passengers.
Wheelchair-using passengers are assisted into the vehicle by the driver, using a lift or a ramp at the rear of the vehicle, with some newer taxis featuring side loading. The wheelchair is usually secured using a type of belt and clip combination, or wheel locks.
