The Nottinghamshire County Council (Greasley Footpath No.110) Modification Order 2026
The above Order made on 3rd June 2026 under Section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, if confirmed as made, will modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the above Area by adding a footpath approximately 35m long from Bosworth Drive, Newthorpe, NG16 3RF to Greasley Footpath No.67 as described in the Order and shown on the order map.
A copy of the order, the order maps and the statement of reasons may be seen free of charge at my Office at the address below between the hours of 9.00 am and 4.30 pm Mondays to Fridays inclusive, and at Broxtowe Borough Council Offices, Foster Avenue, Beeston, NG9 1AB and Eastwood Library, Wellington Place, NG16 3GB, during the respective normal opening hours until 24th July 2026. The order may be viewed on the Nottinghamshire County Council website under Rights of Way News, or a copy can be obtained by e-mailing Countryside.Access@nottscc.gov.uk. Paper copies of the Order and Map may be purchased from my Office at the address below at a cost of £5 per copy.
Any representations about or objections to the Order must be received by the Countryside Access Team at the address given below not later than 24th July 2026. Please state the grounds on which they are made and provide a contact name and address.
If no such representations or objections are duly made to the Order, or any part of it, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Nottinghamshire County Council, instead of submitting the Order to the Secretary of State (or part of it if the Authority has by notice to the Secretary of State so elected under Paragraph 5 of Schedule 15 to the Wildlife & Countryside Act 1981) may itself confirm the Order (or that part of the Order) as an unopposed Order. If the Order is submitted to the Secretary of State for the Environment, (in whole or in part), any representations or objections which have been duly made and not withdrawn will be sent with it.
