The Nottinghamshire County Council (Babworth Footpath No. 9) Diversion Order 2026
The effect of the order as confirmed is to divert the whole width of that part of Babworth Footpath 9 commencing from a point SK6881 7869 proceeding in a South West direction across a field to the junction with Bridleway 5 at point SK6855 7849, to a line commencing from SK6881 7869 proceeding in a Westerly direction along field edge, to a point SK6853 7869, at the junction with Bridleway 5.
This Order comes into force on the 30th July but if any person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity or that of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act, as amended, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under Paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by Paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 6 weeks from 30th July 2026, make an application for the purpose to the High Court.
