Charitable giving through payroll deduction
Many people say they would make a regular donation to charity but for one reason or another forget to do it.
That's why we've partnered up with Charitable Giving to set up 'give as you earn’.
This lets you donate to any UK registered charity or church by a direct deduction from your wage.
How to get started
All you have to do is complete and submit the donation choice form (search for Nottinghamshire County Council) and Charitable Giving will do the rest. They will advise the payroll department of the deduction from your pay and then distribute the money to your charities when your payroll deduction is received.
By giving in this way the charity receives your donation and the tax you would have paid on this amount.
For example, if you donate £5 it will only cost you £4 if you're a basic tax rate payer. Everyone wins.
