Nottinghamshire Journey Planner

Nottinghamshire Journey Planner has been developed by an external organisation called Trapeze. They do not use cookies, however, they do store information on your device in local storage which helps them to give you personalised information. This includes:

  • a session ID so we can save recently accessed information for as long as you keep the website or app open
  • an authentication token which identifies you by your email address. This also includes your authorisation level
  • stops, services and journeys you have chosen as 'favourites'
  • any journey options where you have changed the defaults, for example if you change your preferred walking speed or select the option which gives you journeys with fewer changes

They also store a code that identifies your mobile device. This is not stored alongside or linked with your email address and it only identifies the device, not an individual person. You can sign up for alerts to your mobile device without giving them any personal information such as a name or address.

Local storage values stored

Strictly necessary local storage values

  • CapacitorStorage.permissions - cookies permissions and consent
  • CapacitorStorage.authToken -  user account authentication token

Optional local storage values

  • CapacitorStorage.recentLocations - location search history
  • CapacitorStorage.journeyOptions - journey preferences
  • CapacitorStorage.recentJourneys - journey search history
  • CapacitorStorage.recentServices - service search history

Most of the personal information Trapeze process is provided by you to allow them to send you travel alerts. It is not used for any other purpose.
