Hemlock Happening 2025
This year’s Hemlock Happening will commemorate the 80th Anniversary of VE Day. The Army’s world famous Red Devils Army Parachute Display Team will be dropping into Bramcote Hills Park at 2pm. This breathtaking sky-high spectacular display is something that you won’t want to miss. (Please note that the display will be subject to weather conditions.) As the borough’s largest free community event, the Hemlock Happening at Bramcote Hills Park promises a fantastic day for all ages, and features an impressive line-up of live music on the United Living Main Stage. There is something for everyone, from high-energy rock bands to soulful jazz and choral performances. Nottingham Military Wives Choir will kick off the day, followed by some 1940’s music from Shell’s Belles with Jeanie Barton. The afternoon music continues with talented bands Slow Train, Acoustic Soda, Anteloup, Beggar’s Belief, and Televised. Headlining are The Jaxx, a four-piece band known for their high energy presence. In addition to live music spanning from 1940s classics to modern hits, enjoy a fun-filled day with community, arts, craft and trade stalls; activities; fairground rides; and classic vehicles. Grab a drink from the Gladstonian Mobile Bar, and experience interactive military displays and activities by the HQ Army Centre and Reserve units, offering children and families a glimpse into army life. Meet the Red Devils Army Parachute Display team. Don’t miss The Haven Performance Arena, showcasing incredible performances from local dance organisations and clubs, and the Green Zone, featuring games and eco-friendly crafts that highlight environmental initiatives.
