About this course
By the end of the course the students will have been introduced to the fascinating ‘Science-Art’ of Handwriting analysis (Graphology). Each of the 5 weeks will focus on the different basic techniques and identify some of the giveaway strokes within a sample of handwriting
What will be covered on the course?
Each week has a specific topic and by following the instructions and demonstrations of the techniques, you will look at the samples of handwriting you want to analyse and identify any corresponding characteristics.
Week 1: The Size and Three Zones
Week 2: The Layout, Margins and Slant
Week 3: t bars and i dots
Week 4: Loops, Pressure and Speed
Week 5: The personal pronoun I and the Signature
Any students unable to attend a session will be supplied with the appropriate handouts
What will learners achieve by the end of the course?
- Using the handouts and their own notes they will be able to use the various techniques to assess their own handwriting.
- With a little practice anybody’s handwriting will become a window to the personality of the writer. For the enthusiastic student life will never be the same!
What skills or knowledge do learners already need to have to attend the course?
- This is for complete beginners, so no prior knowledge required
What should learners bring?
- Pen, Paper and Ruler
- Samples of handwriting, your own included e.g. (old Christmas cards with writing)
- If possible, ask people you know to give you permission to look at their handwriting
