About this course
Exploring where Modern Day Holistic Therapies originated and how they have changed in the modern world.
Researching and practicing Meditation, Reiki, Aromatherapy, Ayurvedic Medicine and Indian Head Massage to gain a deeper understanding of each therapy.
What will be covered on the course?
- Meditation - Where it started and how it has changed in the modern world.
- Reiki - Starting with Mikao Usui and his Reiki system , we then explore how the system has
- become so vast today.
- Aromatherapy - Where it started and How this system can bring balance and serenity to your
- life.
- Ayurvedic Medicine - What is it? Where did it originate? How can you work it into daily life?
- Indian Head Massage - Learn the basics of this Ancient Therapy for Health and Wellbeing
What will learners achieve by the end of the course?
- Recall where Meditation originated and Apply Meditation techniques.
- Describe How the System of Reiki has changed and Use the Precepts in your daily Life.
- Locate where Aromatherapy started and Practice working with different Oils / Fragrances.
- Review Ayurvedic Medicine as a Holistic Therapy and Plan this into your Lifestyle.
- Select Basic Indian Head Massage Techniques and Build them into your energy routine daily

To secure your place on the course BOTH the following must be done:
- Complete the EVENTBRITE BOOKING.
- Complete our INSPIRE ONLINE ENROLMENT FORM for each person attending the course.
You should be redirected to the Inspire Online Enrolment Form after completing the Eventbrite booking. If you are not redirected, please use the link supplied in the Eventbrite booking confirmation email.
To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.
Some exceptions may apply if you are living in England with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).
As we no longer receive funding for our ESFA-funded courses for learners living in the devolved areas listed below, full cost fees would apply to these courses if you live in these areas:
