Creative Glass Fusion Workshop
Make anything you like using glass at this unique creative workshop. Predominantly focused for people who already have experience of cutting and working with glass you can make a piece of your choice. One medium or two small bowls, plaque, flower, Christmas tags or jewellery. If you have a project of your own in mind your tutor Katherine is happy to discuss your needs and project prior. A super selection of materials and tools to work with. This is your chance to indulge in your passion and spend 3 hours creating. What you will make – Make one bowl or two – depending on which shape you make your dish sizes will be approximately 20 x 15cm or 12cm in diameter, or make 2 smaller bowls. Or make 2 flowers, a plaque, 4 glass tags or 3 pieces of jewellery ( 2 pendants and a pair of earrings, a ring or cufflinks). Who is this workshop for – As this is a free style workshop you will need experience of glass cutting. If you have attended a stained glass or glass style workshop before then you will have the skills. What is included – Materials and tools are provided along with refreshments and a snack. Please note – at the time of booking please add a note in the comments box to indicate what you are planning to make and your colour preference. About Katherine A self-employed designer and maker of traditional stained glass and contemporary glass pieces. Katherine prides herself on creating pieces that show the clarity and colour of glass, using simple shapes and bold colour combinations. Her focus is on creating functional pieces, which can be worn every day or used in the home. To ensure the quality of your personal experience, group size will be limited to 6.
