About this course
The intent of this course is to learn the basics of Crochet to create simple products. Learners will gain confidence in following basic instructions, and trouble shooting.
What will be covered on the course?
- The History of Crochet
- Casting on and chain stitch
- Double Stitch
- Treble Stich
- Half Treble
- Crocheting Circles.
- Designing and creating new Crochet products.
The learners will be able to:
- Demonstrate a range of simple crochet stitches.
- Identify and troubleshoot mistakes.
- Create simple products and improve design skills.
This is a course for absolute beginners, so no knowledge is needed.
This course covers the very basics of Crochet, and may not be appropriate for who already have a solid basic understanding of the craft.
Learners may wish to being their own hooks and yarns.

To secure your place on the course BOTH the following must be done:

- Complete our INSPIRE ONLINE ENROLMENT FORM for each person attending the course.
You should be redirected to the Inspire Online Enrolment Form after completing the Eventbrite booking. If you are not redirected, please use the link supplied in the Eventbrite booking confirmation email.
To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.
Some exceptions may apply if you are living in England with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).
