Youth Service annual report 2025/26
Our youth service continues to make a real difference for young people, providing welcoming spaces where they can build confidence, develop skills and get the right support at the right time.

Our key achievements
In 2025/26:
- We refurbished three centres to enhance our safe spaces for young people
- We provided funded residential experiences to 150 young people in our specialist centres
- Over one hundred young people took part in fully funded adventurous activity day sessions
- Hundreds of year 6 pupils successfully transitioned into secondary schools
- We provided 7,870 project-based youth work interventions to young people to meet needs
In total, 14,231 individual young people took part in youth work. There were 1,133 hours of youth work delivered at weekends, and 18,537 hours of youth provision delivered across the county.
