About this course

This course is over two days. This training is for ALL early years practitioners who are working face to face with children and their families. The course will help practitioners to further develop their skills in supporting children’s early speech, language, and communication development and enhance confidence in early identification of children who may need additional support.

Please note that this course takes place over two sessions and there will be a short gap task to completed between the sessions.

Also, your Ticket will only say the time of the first part (12 September at 1.00pm) but it is also for the second part (3 October at 9.30am)

Outcomes.
By the end of the course practitioners will have:
• developed the knowledge and skills to identify those children with emerging SLCN
• developed effective strategies to support children with SLCN related to their need
• increased confidence to work with parents and carers to support their child speech, language, and communication development
• an awareness of local support that is available for children aged 0-5 years with Speech, Language and Communication needs and the role of the early years setting in this

If you have booked a place but find you cannot make it, remember to cancel your place so others can attend.

Please remember to bring your Eventbrite ticket on the day.

If you fail to attend a course you have booked on without cancelling your place via your Eventbrite account no refund will be given.

To view or change your booking in any way (such as cancelling your place) you must setup an Eventbrite account.
