Target audience
All those offering and/or working within Wraparound Childcare – Before and/or After School – including HAF providers
About this course
Nottinghamshire County Council have commissioned the Early Years Company to support Continuous Professional Development for all those working with school age children in wraparound childcare and holiday provision.
The online session will cover the following:
Develop strategies for quality interactions in playwork settings.
• Understanding the role of the playworker in supporting child-led play
• Developing responsive, respectful interactions that enhance play without directing it
• Supporting children’s social, emotional and communication skills through everyday interactions
• Reflecting on adult involvement to maintain playwork values and principles
We will review attendance and feedback from this session carefully to inform future CPD opportunities.

To support Wraparound provisions with quality interactions to enhance communication skills through everyday interactions
You must use the Eventbrite link to book a course. You cannot contact the course admin to book.
Make sure you have your manager's approval before booking on a course.
If you have booked a place but find you cannot make it, remember to cancel your place so others can attend.
Please remember to bring your Eventbrite ticket on the day.
If you fail to attend a course you have booked on without cancelling your place via your Eventbrite account no refund will be given.
