Come and be inspired to promote and raise awareness of the value of outdoor play both in your setting and children’s homes, take away practical ideas to improve or enhance your own outdoor areas. This course aims to improve your knowledge and understanding of how to develop teaching and learning outdoors through adult support, play, engagement, learning and progress and be aware of how outdoor play promotes child development.

To understand the importance of outdoor play in the early years and to explore :
• the benefits of risky play and how to implement the EYFS through outdoor play
• whether your outdoor environment supports children’s learning and development and how to enhance it.
• the vital role of adults to facilitate, engage, and support children’s learning.
You must use the Eventbrite link to book a course. You cannot contact the course admin to book.
Make sure you have your manager's approval before booking on a course.
If you have booked a place but find you cannot make it, remember to cancel your place so others can attend.
Please remember to bring your Eventbrite ticket on the day.
If you fail to attend a course you have booked on without cancelling your place via your Eventbrite account no refund will be given.
To view or change your booking in any way (such as cancelling your place) you must setup an Eventbrite account.
