About these courses

Nottinghamshire Council in conjunction with Families First CIC is offering free training for anyone delivering (or thinking about delivering) activities for school age children outside of the school day.

Wraparound Safeguarding Training: This course has been designed to specifically address the unique safeguarding issues which arise in out of school settings for school age children. It assumes a basic knowledge of safeguarding and will signpost for those who need to refresh this.

Wraparound Inclusive Practice: This course aims to support a whole setting inclusive approach which welcomes all children and celebrates difference. It supports understanding and practical ideas to make changes which benefit all children through focusing on the inclusion of children with SEND.

Business Planning for Success: This course aims to support leaders, managers and owners through a ten step business planning process which holds quality, sustainability and inclusion as central throughout.
