Ryan House Day Nursery

Ryan House Day opened in 2018 by an incredible lady Anne Prescott who devoted 23 years of her life to giving children the best start in life. Ryan House was named after her son Ryan who sadly passed away, but Anne continued in his memory to offer the best facilities and opportunities for other children to grow and flourish. The nursery on its first inspection in August 2021 received an outstanding grade by OFSTED with no recommendations. The team at Ryan House have worked tirelessly to give all children the best outcomes developing an inclusive diverse curriculum for all children within this multicultural setting.

Forest schools and inter-generational working have hugely impacted on children’s learning and development. Staff work inclusively with outside professionals who have consistently praised the efforts of the staff team for working with children with special educational needs recommending children and parents to us. Ofsted said “staff interactions are exceptional “
As a team we were taken over by Rushcliffe Day Nurseries and adapted to huge changes. As a team we pulled together creating an exceptional home from home environment for the children. We had our first ever Ofsted in august and got an outstanding grade with no recommendations at all. We are a huge family here and pull together to get through even the toughest days. We have recently been taken over again and the team have shone and are continuing to prove their abilities and strengths in being outstanding practitioner’s.
The staff of the nursery were able to pick up signs of a possible epilepsy when mine 10-month-old baby start at the nursery what prompt us to look for medical care. Fortunately, it was not epilepsy but other medical condition that probably led to the signs. The care that my two girls (one already in school) had there was great, and they both developed to confident children. Thank you, Ryan House.
