About this course

Have a go and create three different styles of jewellery. This course is designed flexibly, with regular  breaks, enabling learners to integrate their life requirements and appointments.

Over 3 of two-week sessions, learners will be able to: 

  1. Learn the basics to make a beaded jewellery set, (2 weeks).
  2. Remake jewellery from broken bits and bobs, to re-create new designs, (2 weeks).
  3. Make geometric paper jewellery, including beads and origami leaf earrings, (2 weeks).

Dates of sessions are as follows: 

  • 9th November 10am - 12pm 
  • 16th November 10am - 12pm 
  • 1 week break 
  • 30th November 10am - 12pm 
  • 7th December 10am - 12pm 
  • 1 week break 
  • 21st December 10am - 12pm 
  • 1 week break 
  • 4th January 10am - 12pm   

ReNew is for residents of Newark and Sherwood and if you are currently not in employment and not able to actively look for work then this is a free course to give you the chance to learn a new skill in our friendly, informal ReNew classes at the Buttermarket, Newark.

Booking your place and fee information

You will need your national insurance number to enrol on the day.

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.

Some exceptions may apply if you are living in England with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).

As we no longer receive funding for our ESFA-funded courses for learners living in the devolved areas listed below, full cost fees would apply to these courses if you live in these areas:

  • Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham and Sheffield
