Newark Dragon Boat Festival

Plans are well underway to make this year’s Newark Dragon Boat Festival bigger and better than ever. With 36 teams already signed up and raring to go, competition on the river will be fierce as teams battle it out for the title of 2023 Champion. We have a great variety of fantastic entertainment and local food and drink vendors in store for you at the Dragon Boat Festival this September! With an increased number of delicious food and drink vendors on site and a fantastic line up of live entertainment there will be something to cater for all tastes. Adding to the festival atmosphere will be street entertainment, face painting and for the first time ever some virtual reality experiences as well as inflatables and climbing experiences. It’s a free* event for the whole family and we hope that you will come along and join us for a great day out and to cheer on our teams. Not only will you be having fun but you will be raising vital funds for two much loved and needed local charities, The Children’s Bereavement Centre and Beaumond House Hospice Care. *Some activities will be charged for
