Active Travel Fund

Nottinghamshire County Council has been successful in securing £2.18m from Tranche 2 of the Government’s Active Travel Fund.

The funding secured was less than the total value of the schemes included in the bid, therefore further feasibility work was undertaken on the proposed schemes followed by an initial consultation on the potential schemes in February/March 2021,  to help determine a Tranche 2 programme. A round of consultation was undertaken in July/August 2021 on three of the schemes proposed as part of the Tranche 2 programme.  The results of the consultation are currently being reviewed by County Council officers.

Further information on the Council’s Active Travel Fund Tranche 2 programme is available on its Active Travel Fund Tranche 2 webpage.
