Families will be spoilt for choice with the events and activities that are on offer across Nottinghamshire this October half-term. Nottinghamshire County Council has taken the stress out of planning days out by rounding up some of the fun to help keep the kids entertained.

There’s lots on offer, from meeting Mickey and Minnie to trick or treat trails, or how about an adventure holiday club, a day in life of an astronaut or enjoying the light extravaganza that is the Spectacle of Light? All ages are catered for and won’t cost ‘an arm and a leg’.

Why not #BusIt around the county for only £2 fare, which has now been extended until 2024. There’s no better way to #ExploreNotts, so make the ‘ghost’ of it!

Why not discover the autumnal scenic routes Nottinghamshire has on offer on foot, bike or horse.

Councillor John Cottee, Cabinet Member for Communities at Nottinghamshire County Council, said: “Over the half-term school holidays Nottinghamshire has plenty of exciting events on offer for families to enjoy.

“Whether you are visiting one of our libraries, country parks, holiday clubs or the countryside, there’s something for everyone.

“Share your adventures with us on social media by using the hashtag #ExploreNotts. We can’t wait to see what fun you have this half-term.”
