Cheer on the Tour of Britain in a town or village near you!

The Borough welcomes the national Tour of Britain on Thursday 8 September where the 5th stage of the race will commence!

It’s a fantastic opportunity for you and your community to cheer on the top cyclists as they battle out the start of the 5th stage of the Tour together with thousands of cycling enthusiasts and visitors.

Remember to invite your friends from afar to what promises to be a truly memorable event here in the Borough.

Residents and businesses are being reassured that road closures will be fully publicised ahead of the event.

The Tour in Rushcliffe

It will begin on Central Avenue in West Bridgford. Plans are being finalised on how the format of the start of the race will take shape and how other communities in the town will acknowledge the event.
