Boots and Beret Awards 2026

We are delighted to announce that nominations are now invited for our annual Armed Forces Community Awards 2026, which take place later this year.

The awards, now in their fourth year, celebrate the tireless dedication, commitment and service within Nottinghamshire’s Armed Forces’ community.

Nominations are open to:
• Local authorities and businesses who are signatories of the Armed Forces Covenant or who are in receipt of either the Bronze, Silver, or Gold Defence Employer Recognition Scheme.
• Parish and Town Councils.
• Community groups.
• Registered charities within Nottinghamshire.

This is your opportunity to nominate the colleagues, teams, and partners you think have demonstrated exceptional performance towards defence people issues.

More than 260 Armed Forces champions and dignitaries attended the third Boots and Beret Awards at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Nottingham, in September 2025.

The showpiece event was launched in 2023, and this year’s winners will be announced at a special awards ceremony in September 2026.

Tickets for Boots and Beret Awards 2026 will go on sale in May and more details about how you can purchase them will be announced in due course.
