We are part of the Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Integrated Care System as well as the South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw Integrated Care System.
We have been working with these partner organisations to better improve how information about residents and people we support is shared. By using digital ICT systems to link records together it allows our organisations to make better decisions by reducing delays in information reaching the right people.
We have been a trailblazer for new methods of digital information sharing and have implemented a number of different projects as part of the work. These include:
- Sharing social care and access health information digitally with NHS organisations in Nottinghamshire
- Developing a “locator service” to help health organisations correctly identify the responsible local authority
- Digitising hospital referral and discharge processes for all Nottinghamshire residents
- Developing shared “information standards” to be used at a national level
