Get contraception from your GP

Some sexual health services are available from participating GP practices.

Most GP practices offer long-acting reversible contraception (LARC), although this may not be available at every practice. Check with your GP practice before making an appointment.

LARC is also available through Sexual Health Services Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.

Get emergency contraception from a pharmacy

Some community pharmacies provide free emergency hormonal contraception.

Not all pharmacies offer this service and some may charge, so check before you visit.
