We are very flexible with our catering and menu options. Please take a look at our sample menu below for an idea of what we can offer: 

Soups and starters

Soups can be used as either a starter or as an intermediary course:

  • smoked salmon and herb cheese roulade s/w an orange and peppercorn dressing
  • seasonal fan of melon and Parma ham s/w a red berry coulis
  • vine ripened tomato and mozzarella salad s/w a bed of mixed leaf salad and fresh basil
  • course pate of chicken live and bacon s/w an apple chutney and melba toast
  • broccoli with stilton pate s/w melba toast and a mixed leaf garnish
  • cream of wild mushroom with a hint of tarragon
  • carrot and coriander finished with a swirl of cream
  • red pepper and lime s/w a garlic crouton.

Main courses

All our main courses are served with a selection of seasonal vegetables and potatoes:

  • rack of lamb s/w port and fresh rosemary sauce
  • filler of cidered pork s/w sage and garlic stuffing
  • seared Thai salmon in a ginger and teriyaki sauce
  • braised sirloin of beef s/w a brandy, cream and pink peppercorn sauce
  • spinach stuffed supreme of chicken s/w a tomato and cream sauce
  • filo wrapped roasted vegetable and pine nut parcel
  • tagliatelle verde with baked tomato, mushroom and red onion sauce.

Desserts

  • rich chocolate and walnut mousse laced with Tia Maria
  • lemon tarte s/w creme fraiche
  • wholemeal apple and blackberry crumble s/w a creamy custard
  • trio of exotic sorbets s/w a raspberry coulis
  • locally sourced or continental cheese selection s/w biscuits and grapes.

Follow your dessert with fresh brew coffee or tea s/w chocolate petit four. We also have a selection of liqueurs available to enjoy with your coffee.

Buffets

These buffets are designed to give you a selection of hot and cold food and will be served to you from the buffet table. There are several different buffet options available. Below is an example of two:

Example 1

  • fillet of salmon s/w a dill dressing
  • baked chicken breast in a red wine sauce
  • exotic mixed leaf
  • Mediterranean tomato and red onion salad
  • savoury rice
  • parsley potatoes
  • tropical fruit salad s/w pouring cream
  • fresh brew coffee or tea.

Example 2

  • Tandori chicken s/w a plain yoghurt and cucumber sauce finished with mint
  • vegetable lasagne topped with mozzarella and fresh basil
  • pilau rice
  • three bean salad
  • spinach and pine nut salad
  • fruits of the forest cheesecake s/w pouring cream
  • fresh brew coffee or tea.

We also offer finger buffets that are self service:

Bronze buffet

  • a selection of cocktail sandwiches
  • mini Indian savoury selection s/w raita
  • petite quiche assortment
  • tortilla chips and salsa.

Silver buffet

  • a selection of cocktail sandwiches
  • satay of chicken s/w a sour cream dip
  • selection of lightly baked crostini
  • tomato and basil quiche fingers
  • tortilla chips and salsa
  • mini patisserie.

Gold buffet

  • a selection of cocktail sandwiches
  • mini Indian savoury selection s/w raita
  • satay of chicken s/w a sour cream dip
  • tomato and basil quiche fingers
  • sesame prawn toast
  • selection of lightly baked crostini
  • tortilla chips and salsa
  • mini patisserie selection.

Drinks packages

We offer several drinks packages so you have an exact price per guest. Below is an example of two packages:

Example 1

  • reception drink - fruit punch
  • with the meal - one glass of house wine
  • for the toast - one glass of sparkling wine

Example 2

  • reception drink - fruit punch or bucks fizz
  • with the meal - two glasses of house wine
  • for the toast - one glass of house champagne.

Wines

We have a comprehensive selection of red and white wines from Europe, South America and the New World. We also offer several sparkling wines and champagne and some low alcohol alternative wines.
