Provider Selection Regime (PSR)

The Provider Selection Regime (PSR) is a set of rules for procuring health care services in England.

The PSR was introduced by regulations made under the Health and Care Act 2022 and came into force on 1 January 2024. It aims to ensure that all decisions are made un the best interest of the patients and service users.

As part of the regulations there is a requirement to publish an annual report for all the contracting activity made under PSR.
