What is School Travel Planning?
School Travel Planning promotes safer, active and sustainable travel to school. The aim is to reduce the number of children and staff travelling to school by car, and is often used to relieve parking and safety issues at the school gate.
What should I be doing?
Below is an overview of the travel planning process. However it is important to realise that it is the initiatives that are the most important thing: audits and surveys will help you identify which initiatives will work best for your school. (And if you want to use the tools to create a formal Travel Plan document - that's great, but not essential).
